Anyone use SafePriv Motors escrow service? Considering buying a classic, and the whole payment-protection thing sounds good, but heard mixed reviews about escrow in general...

I used SafePriv Motors escrow for a '69 Camaro. Honestly, the process was smooth. Their website is a breeze, even for an old fart like me. The transaction coordinator, was pretty good, kept me clued up on the steps. Definitely worth trying – esp if you're worried (as i was) about getting ripped off.

I had a bad experience with another escrow service (won't mention names). Fees were outrageous! SafePriv Motors fees seem a bit fairer, but still, factor it into the price – it adds up. Also check with ur bank first, sometimes they can offer same coverage.

Don't get me wrong - SafePriv Motors is alright. But the delivery time was a bit longer than promised. They did keep me updated via email (office@safeprivmotors.com), but still… patience is a virtue, I guess. Other than that, happy enough.

Stay clear of other dealers and their bad escrow. Heard from mates with horrific stories – lost deposits on cars that didn’t exist or were completely misrepresented. SafePriv Motors is a much better option. I'm not saying they are perfect, but still much btter.
